Obituary of Jeffrey L. Shirtz

Jeffrey L Shirtz of Green Village, New Jersey, formerly of Mendham, passed away on June 24, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 53. Born in Springfield, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Ann Lutz, he lived in Brielle, NJ, Chattanooga, TN, Devon Pa and Mendham before moving to Green Village, NJ. He attended the University of Tennessee and received his BS from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Jeff was an Industrial Engineer and worked mainly in Cosmetics Packaging. He proudly oversaw Lumson USA in Summit, NJ. During his career Jeff also worked for Estee Lauder, MAC and Bobbi Brown. As a passion he coached the girls Mendham Volleyball Club. Jeff was predeceased by his father Raymond L. Shirtz. He is survived by his mother Ann Lutz Shirtz of Louisville, KY, his beloved son, Jeffrey and his beloved daughter Jamie both of Mendham, with whom he shared his love of sports. Further, he is survived by his loving fiancé, Edna Cetina, his wonderful siblings, Joseph Shirtz of Mendham, Raymond Shirtz of Norwell, MA, and Vivien Jacoby of Louisville, KY, many loving nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd. Mendham. Funeral service Saturday at 11 am, at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers.
