To The Entire O'Connor Family: It was an honor to work with Jerry O'Connor for 20+ plus years! He was a great mentor & more importantly a friend whose friendship I will miss forever! Dear O'Connor family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It was a true privilege growing up next door to the O'Connor family on LBI. Mr. O'Conor was a great role model and someone that I've always looked up to. Every time that I make a trip to the lighthouse, I always remember the fun times I had on his boat as a child. O'Connor family, I am very sorry for your loss. I feel very lucky to have known Mr.O'Connor. He was someone I always had a lot of respect for growing up, and that respect continued to grow over the years. His wit, intelligent, and love for his family were very apparent in his speech at Katie's wedding, which I think back to fondly.
