Obituary of Jeanne D Pagano
Jeanne D. Pagano passed away peacefully on Jan 2, 2015 at home. She was 98.
Born in New York City, NY she lived in Caldwell, NJ for many years before moving to The Claridge House in Verona.
She was a graduate of Pace College in NY.
Mrs. Pagano worked for Nieman Marcus in NY, NY as an Executive Secretary to the President of the company for 43 years before retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Caldwell Women's Club and the NJ Business Assoc. and also served on the NJ Water Commission. She was active at Caldwell College and was a member of Delbarton Mother's Guild and the Parents of Graduates Auxiliary.
She was also very involved with the Landscaping at the Claridge House in Verona.
Jeanne was instrumental in helping her son bring the first Wendy's Franchise to the state of NJ.
Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1962 and her brother Raymond DeMarco in 1970.
Survivors include one son Joseph Pagano, one daughter Jaqueline Pagano Longo; one sister Lorraine Horvath Lawrence, two grandchildren Joseph J. Longo, Joseph A. Pagano and, one great granddaughter Bella Sofia Longo. She is also survived by nephews Giacomo Pagano, Martin Graveley, Steven and James Horvath and one niece Joan Clifford.
A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Mary's Abbey at Delbarton School on Tuesday Jan. 6, 2014 at 10:30am. Private Entombment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
