To Charlie's family,
I got the sad news about Charlie just two weeks ago. My hope is that you all live on with nothing but fond memories of such a wonderful son, father , and man.
Our friendship came late at OWU . I joined the soccer team for my senior year and had the great fortune of being accepted in by a great bunch of guys . One guy in particular will always stand out in my mind and that's Charlie. Something just connected between us from the start of preseason. An encouraging word, his own independence, a laugh that made you laugh harder, a serious look , a smile that told you it was going to be all right ! These are the memories I will always have of Charlie.
As I read the tributes about Charlie I realized why he was so well respected and liked.
High energy, passion, humor , friendly, and hard working ! Words that truly define a great person.
Rest In Peace Charles
I know you and Bandit are strolling across the pitch in heaven.
Guy

My prayers go out to the Louria family. Along with his wife, he helped to raise three wonderful young men, Andrew, Stephen and David...model students and people. May you all find the strength to carry on with the love he had for each of you in your hearts and may your fond memories carry you through this difficult time. There are no words at a time such as this, but I want you to know that I know that you were/are loved and he will be with you always. Many prayers of peace to each of you! I am here if you ever need me. xo Kim A BaRoss
