Obituary of Aniello Cillo
Mr. Aniello Cillo, age 87 of Tanglewood Shores sub-division, Bracey died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Mendham, NJ on January 14, 1927 and attended Mendham Boro School and Morristown High School. Mr. Cillo was a retired Seaman 1st Class with the United States Navy who participated in the D-Day Normandy invasion, the invasion of Southern France and the invasion of Leyte in the Philippines and also served in the Korean War. He was the widower of Dorothy J. Cillo. Mr. Cillo is survived by two sons; Anthony Cillo and his wife Denise of Bracey and Christopher Cillo of Hampton, Va. , a daughter Lori Bullard of Lynchburg, four brothers; Pietro Cillo of Mendham, N.J. , Anthony Cillo and wife Dolores of Middlesex, N.J., Dr. Joseph Cillo of Chester, N.J. , and James Cillo also of Mendham, N.J., two sisters; Rose Grievo and husband Salvatore of Mendham, N.J. and Theresa Smith and husband Jack also of Mendham, N.J., eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Cillo was predeceased by two sisters Marie Pennimpede and Ann Fondaco and a twin brother Anthony Cillo. A funeral mass will be conducted on October 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham, NJ with military graveside honors. The family will receive friends at the church from10am until time of mass. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Gaston Volunteer Fire Department.
