Obituary of Rose Breza
Rose Breza, age 94, of Aiken, SC, originally of Carteret, NJ and Middlesex Boro, NJ died Friday, May 22nd. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1988. She is survived by her two daughters Carol Henderlong and husband James of Aiken, SC and Nancy Kopin and husband Stephen of Easton, PA; three grandchildren, Michael Henderlong and wife Laura of Far Hills, NJ, Keith Henderlong and wife Deborah of Acton, MA, Carrie Cunnane and husband Christopher of Quakertown, PA; five great grandsons: William, Patrick, Mitchell, Daniel Henderlong and Lucas Cunnane; two great granddaughters: Leah Henderlong and Rebecca Cunnane.
Rose lived most of her life in Carteret, NJ. She attended Carteret Public Schools and graduated from the Coleman Business College in Newark, NJ. She was employed by the Holbrook Hat Factory in Perth Amboy and assisted her husband at Breza's Market in Carteret. She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church, Carteret, a member of its Junior Women's Guild and member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mt. Zion Chapter #116, Metuchen, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., June 6, 2009 at 10:30am at the Hungarian Reformed Church of Carteret, 175 Pershing Ave. Visitation will be held on Friday June 5 from 6-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham, NJ. The Eastern Star will conduct a service at 8pm.
