Obituary of Donna Collins

Donna Collins (Dunphy) died suddenly on July 12, 2014 at Newton Memorial Hospital. She was 49. Born in Winchendon, Massachusetts, Donna has lived in Mendham, New Jersey for the last 24 years. She attended Northeastern University in Boston. Donna was a Vice President of Client Services and Administration for the MI Group in Whippany, New Jersey for the last three years. Donna was a brilliant light in so many lives. She connected with people through her laughter, sense of humor, and unending devotion to them. She was a loving wife to Bobby. Her daughters were blessed to have a mother who loved them with all her being. She was their advocate, best friend, and pillar of strength. Moriah and Michaela will carry her light and wisdom within them throughout their lives. She was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Collins II. She is survived by her daughters, Moriah Miller and her husband Mark of Atlanta, Georgia and Michaela Collins Dalal of Mendham, New Jersey and her husband Vikas. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Dunphy and is survived by her father Melvin Dunphy of New Port Ritchey , Florida. She is also survived by sisters Karen Antonellis and Lucille Stowell, both of Keene, New Hampshire and brothers Patrick Dunphy of Kettering, Ohio, Stephen Dunphy of Culpeper, Virginia, and Christopher Dunphy of Atlanta, Georgia. Donna was the daughter-in-law of the late Marie Collins and is survived by her father-in-law Robert Collins of Mendham, New Jersey. She is also survived by sister-in-laws Mary Beth Sawyer of Connecticut, Maura Goessling of Maine, and Kathleen Kiessling of New Jersey. She is loved and will be missed by many other family members and numerous dear friends. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Autism Speaks – events.autismspeaks.org/tributes/ctdunphy Visitation will be held on Friday July 18, 2014 from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham, New Jersey. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Church in Mendham. Interment at Hilltop Cemetery, Mendham.
