Obituary of Anna Maria DiCarlo

Anna Maria DiCarlo passed away peacefully on June 14, 2014 at home in Far Hills. She was 97. Born in San Rufo, Italy, she lived in Newark before moving to Far Hills in 1965. Mrs. Di Carlo opened Di Carlo's Hair Salon in Far Hills in 1965. Her two sons, Carmen and Joseph continue to operate the Salon today. She was a member of the Far Hills-Bedminster Senior Citizens and was a long time member of St. Elizabeth Church in Far Hills. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a kind and compassionate person to her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Vito and her 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include two sons; Carmine Di Carlo and his wife Judy of Chester and Joseph and his wife Nancy of Bedminster. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Robert, Anna Lori, Thomas and Peter. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 17, 2014 from 2-4& 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St. Peapack. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11am at St. Brigid Church, Peapack. Entombment Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. For those desiring, donations to the ALS Foundation, in her memory, would be appreciated.
