Having attended E. Lampeter Twp., Elementary, Jr. High and High Schools, Smoketown, during the late 1940's and early 1950's, I remember the store on the Old Phila Pke and shopping there and those who ran the store. Being an "oldster", I happened to come about the Kingree name and it jogs old memories. As a native of Lancaster, no one would remember me as a school kid, however, I remember those who treated me well.
May Tom Kingree rest in peace with our Lord and may all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. SHALOM!

Dear Kevin,
I am so sorry to learn of your father's passing but what a great life he lived! Now I know where YOU got all the enthusiasm for all that you do in your own life. Be at peace to know your dad is comfortable now and no longer suffering anything. God bless you and your family today especially as you celebrate his life and share in the Holy Eucharist at St. Joseph's Church. Praying for all of you......
Love, peace and comfort,

What is dying? ~
'A Parable of Immortality' written by Henry van Dyke
(1852 - 1933)
I am standing on the seashore. ?A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white clouds just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other.?Then someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!"?"Gone where?"?"Gone from my sight, that's all". She is just as large in mast and spar and hull as ever she was when she left my side; just as able to bear her load of living freight to the place of her destination. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at that moment when someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!" And that is dying.
You and your family are in our daily thoughts and prayers
