Obituary of Peter S. Hornyak

Peter S. Hornyak, 65, formerly of North Haven, CT died peacefully on May 22, 2014 at Holly Manor in Mendham, NJ. He was the son of Stephen Hornyak and Jeannette Spencer Hornyak. He is survived by his sisters AnneMarie of Mendham and Elizabeth and her husband, Michael Karsmarski of Wallingford, CT. He is also survived by a niece, Sarah Karsmarski and a nephew, Matthew Karsmarski. Peter was a graduate of The Catholic University of America in 1971 and received his MBA from University of New Haven. He taught as an adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University. Peter was a dedicated Partner at Seward and Monde, CPAs in North Haven CT for 43 years. His family will remember him as a loving son, brother, uncle, and Godfather He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2014 from 11am until 12noon at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham, NJ. Funeral Mass Tuesday 12:30 at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment Hilltop Cemetery, Mendham.
