Obituary of Joseph John Fragomeni

Joseph John Fragomeni passed away on May 11, 2014 at Toms River Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was 80 years old. Born in Brooklyn, he lived most of his life in Mendham and four years in Boonton before moving to Forked River in 1995. Joe was the Advertising Director at the Recorder Publishing Company in Bernardsville for many years before retiring. He also was a Tile Setter for A&F Tile Company, a family owned business for a number of years. "Big Joe", as he was fondly referred to, was an avid boater and spent as much time on the water as possible. He was happiest when spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Pastime Club in Mendham and the Old Guard in Forked River. He is survived by his loving family, including his wife Imelda Keegel Fragomeni, his son Anthony Fragomeni (Linda) of Branchville, one daughter Denise Sabeh (Mark Sr.) of Denville, his stepson Frank Pisano III of Oak Ridge (Vicky); and one sister Agatha Grassi of Mendham. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass celebrating Joe's life will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 1 pm St. Joseph Church in Mendham. Private Interment in Hilltop Cemetery www.baileyfuneral.com
