Obituary of Rudolph Jaffe
Rudy Jaffe died peacefully on May 7, 2014. He was 87.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Temple B'nai Or, Overlook Road, Morristown, N.J. Interment is at Mount Freedom Cemetery, Randolph, N.J.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Mr. Jaffe lived in East Orange and West Orange, N.J., before moving to Mendham, N.J., 17 years ago.
He received his B.A. from Newark State College and his master's degree from Seton Hall University and was a teacher at Essex County Vocational & Technical High School.
He was active in the Mendham Commons, serving on the Landscaping and Maintenance Committees and the Social Committee.
Mr. Jaffe is survived by his wife, Goldie Kerzman Jaffe; two daughters, Susie Schoenberger (Howard) and Bobbie Sobel (Harold), both of Randolph, N.J., and one son, Arthur Jaffe (Martha), of Connecticut; he is also survived by his three grandchildren, Jamie Sobel, and Dani and Michael Schoenberger.
