Obituary of Frank Carotenuto

Frank Carotenuto passed away peacefully on April 27, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 76. Born in Berkeley Heights, he lived in NJ, Setauket, NY, PA, and Ohio before moving to Mendham 32 years ago. Frank was a graduate of Upsala College. He served in the Army form 1961-1964. He was an active member of the Hilltop Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and Elder. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and played semi-pro football for the NJ Vikings. He was a sales representative for Metal Craft of Ohio for the last 15 years. He also worked for National Steel Service Center in Boonton for 35 years. Frank was a devoted family man: steadfast, loyal and hard working. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane MacKay Carotenuto, one son John Carotenuto (and his wife, Pam) of Randolph; three daughters: Leigh Geissler (her husband, John) of Milford, NJ, Christa Carotenuto (her husband, Joseph of Stanhope) and Rebecca Carotenuto (her husband, Victor) of Bronx, NY; two sisters, Batina Dubas of N. Plainfield and Immaculatta Carotenuto of S. Plainfield. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Jamie and Maya. The funeral will be held on Friday at 11am at the Hilltop Presbyterian Church. For those desiring, donations to the Hilltop Presbyterian Church or the Wounded Warriors Project, in his memory, would be appreciated. www.baileyfuneral.com
