Doris Radcliffe Broadfoot died on May, 4, 2009 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was 75. Born in Newark, she lived in Livingston before moving to Toms River 10 years ago. Doris worked for Wakefern Foods in Elizabeth for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Maplewood and the Lakehurst Presbyterian Church. She was also active with the Homeowners Association of Pleasant Plains. Her family will remember her as a loving and caring wife mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband Thomas Broadfoot , Jr. of Toms River, two Daughters Janet Petrie and her husband George of Bedminster and Rachel DiTommaso and her husband Joe of Bloomfield, one son Thomas, III, one brother Ken Radcliffe of CA, and one sister Jean Mitchell of Fl . She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren. Amy, Danny, George, MacGregor, Meaghan, Bryce, Thomas, Heather, Matthew, Julia and several neices and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Service Friday 11am at the Watchung Presbyterian Church, Bloomfield.
