Ms. Giochina J. Costa died on Saturday May 2, 2009 at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany. She was 98. Born in Connecticut, she lived in Brooklyn, Italy, and Florida, before moving to Parsippany in 2007. Ms. Costa worked as a Seamstress for Reubrandt Dresses in New York, NY for 45 years. After her retirement to Florida she continued to make dresses until 1997. Survivors include her brothers Santo and Mario Costa and her sisters Dolores Merolla and Cecilia Ramieri. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation will be held today Monday May 4, 2009 from 4-8 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd. Mendham. The funeral service will be held Monday evening at 8pm. Cremation will be private.
