Obituary of Lorraine A. Gerber

Lorraine Gerber (nee Vernovage) passed away peacefully at home in Hope, NJ on March 14, 2014. She was 80. Born in Olyphant, PA she lived in Harrison, Kearny, and Livingston, NJ before moving to Hope 20 years ago. Lorraine was a realtor for Weichert in Livingston before retiring. She continued to enjoy being involved in real Estate after her retirement. She also owned a dress shop in Mendham for many years. She served as President of the Historical Society in Hope, NJ Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Albert J. Gerber, two daughters; Lesley Miller (Kirk) of Wolfboro, NH and Lenore Londoro (Rick) of Rockaway, two step-grand daughters; Ellen and Mindy, one sister Barbara Mullaney (Tom) of Maine, 6 grandchildren and 2 step- grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11am at ST. Joseph, Church Mendham. Interment Hilltop Cemetery, Mendham.
