Obituary of Louise Carolyn Wilcock

Mendham Twp – Louise Carolyn Wilcock passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover after a long illness. She was 88. Born in Pallisades Park NJ to the late John Wilcock Sr. and Louise Emma Young Wilcock on December 21, 1924, she was a long-time resident of Mendham. Ms. Wilcock was a supervisor in the punch card room at Hooper Holmes Insurance Co. in Morristown for 30 years, retiring in 1988. She was a life-long member of the Hilltop Presbyterian Church in Mendham. She lived a quiet life, religious life, and enjoyed her family and friends. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading, and was known for her love of local history. Predeceased by brothers Charles, John and George, her survivors include her nephew John Wilcock III and his wife Shelly of Andover, nieces Ruthmary Stewart of Byram, Beth Schaefer of Delaware OH, and Marie Ferguson of Parksville NY. She is also survived by great nieces and great nephews including John Wilcock IV and his wife Jane of Mendham; Louise Troutman and her husband David of Cresco PA; Paul Wilcock and his wife Jodi of Johnsonburg NJ; Barry Stewart and his wife Jenny of Stanhope; and Christian Stewart and his wife Deborah of Long Valley.
