Obituary of Anita McCormack Kane

ANDOVER – Anita McCormack Kane, 88, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ 07977 www.baileyfuneralhomes.com  (908) 234-0590.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester. Mrs. Kane was born in Staten Island,NewYork and resided in Chester for many years before moving to Andover to be nearer to family. She  enjoyed cooking and reading and most of all spending time with her family . She was predeceased by her husband, Philip Joseph Kane, Esq. who passed away in 2009. Survivors include her four children, Stephen Joseph Kane and his wife Teresa, Nancy Rand and her husband Laurence, Barbara Nilsen and her husband Stanley, and Joanne Kane Offerman and her husband Mark; 13 grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew and Douglas Rand; Karl, Eric, and Kathryn Nilsen; Matthias Offerman; Danielle Christensen, Brittany Tatalias; Leandra, Alexa, Stephen and Raleigh Kane; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
