Obituary of Randall F. Priest

Randall F. Priest passed away on Nov. 13, 2013 after a short illness. He was 54. Born in Morristown, he was a lifelong Mendham resident. Randy liked to be known as “Randall Of the Woods” because he enjoyed the peace and serenity of the outdoors.  He spent much of this time on Patriots Path and at Schiff Reservation in Mendham and enjoyed camping, biking, hiking and fishing. Randy was a Maintenance Worker at Mendham Racquet and Tennis Club for the last several years.  He had also been employed at Holly Manor Nursing Home, Mendham Hardware and St. Joseph Church in Mendham for many years. Survivors include three brothers; Gary Priest of Budd Lake, Ron Priest of Carmel, Indiana and Larry Priest of West Palm Beach, FL and two sisters Susan Davenport of Exton, PA and Carolyn DeMarisco of Newfane, VT.  Many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many good friends also survive him. Visitation will be held on Friday Nov. 22, 2013 from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Nov 23, 2013 at 10:30 am.  Interment will be Mendham Hilltop Cemetery.
