Obituary of Mary Castiglione

Mary Castiglione (nee LaGatta) of Mendham died peacefully at Holly Manor Center on Saturday, November 9, 2013. She was 91. Born in Bronx, N.Y to Vincent and Lucille LaGatta, she has lived in Mendham since 1970. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church for many years especially The Bible Study group. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert C. Castiglione, in 2003. Survivors include her sons; John Castiglione of Las Vegas, Albert J. Castiglione of Mendham and James Castiglione of Mendham, daughters; Nancy Castiglione of Maryland and Marie Pierson of Bernardsville, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her brother Manny LaGatta of Long Island Visitation was held Monday, November 11, 2013 from 7-9 pm and Tues, November 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment Hilltop Cemetery. www.baileyfuneralhomes.com
