Obituary of Ruth M. Crammer

Ruth Crammer died peacefully on Oct. 21, 2013 at Holly Manor in Mendham. She was 102. Born in Mendham on June 23, 1911, she was a lifelong Mendham resident. Ruth worked as an Assembler at Mepco in Morristown form many years before retiring in 1976. She was a longtime member of Hilltop Presbyterian Church and was its oldest living member. She was a charter member of the Mendham Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Mendham Senior Citizens and the Stanhope Order of the Eastern Star. Her family will remember her as a loving wife mother and grandmother who loved to bowl and have her family visit her at her LBI shore house. She also loved to knit and crochet. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick, sisters Emily Menagh. Julia Rockafeller, Bess Hudson Daily and AlyceFennessey and one brother William Menagh,  Survivors include her two sons; James Crammer of Mendham and Thomas Crammer of Newport Beach, CA, one daughter Sandra Swanger of St. Regis Falls, NY. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday Oct 27, 2013, from 1-5pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham.
