Mendham: Blanche Harkinson died on April 15, 2009. She was 91. Born in Maine, she lived Salem Mass before moving to Brookside in 1952. Blanche was a missionary with Hope Bible Mission for many years. She was very active with the Mission until 2001. Her friends will remember her as a simple women who loved people and loved the Lord. She served in the Army during WWII. She served as an operating room nurse and also as a clerk in the Nuremburg trials. Blanche was predeceased by her husband Stanley. Survivors include one niece and several close friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Bible Chapel, Chester on Sunday April 26th 2009 at 3:00 pm. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home of Mendham. www.baileyfuneralhomes.com
