Obituary of Robert L. Prestridge

Robert L. Prestridge died peacefully at home in Mendham on Oct. 2, 2013. He was 66. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Mendham since 1966. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Montclair State University. He was a Project Coordinator for Jersey Central Power and Light for 43 years before retiring in 2011. His family will remember him as a loving son, husband and father who kept family first. He is survived by his wife Nancy Prestridge (nee Cacchio) of Mendham, his son Scott Prestridge (Sandy) of Maryland, his daughter Jamie Fritze (Frank) of Succasunna, his mother Frances Kahle of Hopatcong and his sister Linda Carricarte of Hopatcong. Visitation will be held on Saturday Oct. 5, 2013 from 2-4:30 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. A memorial service will be held at 4:30pm in the funeral home. For those desiring, donations to the American Cancer Society, in his memory, would be appreciated.
