Obituary of Jane MacKenzie Davidson

- Jane MacKenzie Davidson passed away suddenly at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 31, 2013. She was 79. Born in New York City to Duncan Rae and Winifred (Weet) MacKenzie, she was a resident of Ridgewood before moving to Mendham 47 years ago. She was an avid golfer and member of the Mendham Golf and Tennis Club. She graduated high school from Emma Willard School in Troy, New York and college from Smith College in North Hampton, Massachusetts. She also received a nursing degree from Columbia University School of Nursing. Mrs. Davidson was a registered nurse for over 25 years for the Chester Medical Associates, Drs. Alan Chanin and Glenn Davis. She had been previously employed by Columbia University Medical Center, Bergen Pines Hospital, and the Matheny School. Survivors include James, her husband of 50 years; two sons, Duncan and Earle and his wife Alexis; her daughter Julia Hassan and her husband George; and four grandchildren, Aidan, Gavin, Griffin, and Greenlee Jane. Her big brother Duncan passed away in 2006.
