Obituary of Zachary Joseph Fedor Lopian

Zachary Joseph Fedor Lopian of Mendham died on June 17, 2013. He was 22. Born on July 24, 1990 in Morristown, Zach was a lifelong Mendham resident. He was a student at the Albrook Montessori School in Basking Ridge, and the Peck School in Morristown where he studied from kindergarten to sixth grade. In seventh grade Zach entered Delbarton School in Morristown and was a member of the varsity football and lacrosse teams. He graduated from Delbarton in 2009 and was enrolled at Villanova University in Villanova, PA where he majored in communications. Zach was a member of St. Joseph Church in Mendham where he served as an altar boy. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Joseph Lopian Sr. and his uncle Joseph Lopian, Jr. He is survived by his parents Kenneth A. Lopian and Dianne Fedor Lopian of Mendham; his brother Kenneth M. Lopian of New York City, uncle Michael Fedor, and aunts Linda Weber and Judy Falato. His family will remember Zach as a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew who shared his love of music, family and friends. He is mourned by many in the Delbarton and Villanova communities. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Bailey Funeral Home in Mendham. Visitation hours are on Thursday, June 20 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 21 at 10am at St. Mary’s Abbey Church at Delbarton in Morristown. Interment will follow at Mendham Hilltop Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations in Zachary’s memory to Delbarton School.
