Obituary of Lansing P. Wagner
Lansing P. Wagner passed away peacefully at home in Mendham on May 29, 2013.
He was 95.
Born in Pressmen's Home Tennessee, he lived inConcordand Falmouth Mass before moving to Mendham in 1963.
He served in the Army during WWII.
He received a Bachelor's degree fromHaverfordCollegeand a masters Degree from Harvard.
He was an Editor for Grolier Publishing inNew York,NYand Silver-Burdett inMorristown,NJfor ten years before retiring. He also worked as a consultant for Grafica inChester,NJ.
He was active as a Soccer Coach for many years in Mendham. He was also an avid tennis player.
His family will remember him as a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending family time inCape Cod.
He was predeceased by his wife Diane in 2012.
He is survived by two sons; Brian Wagner ofFlanders,NJand Matthew Wagner ofEssex,VT.He is also survived by his grandchildren; J.B. and Charley Wagner and Brenna and Elena Wagner and Joshua Adams.
A private graveside service will be held at Hilltop Cemetery.
