Ethel Tappert, 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, peacefully, with her family at her side. Visitation will be held on Monday April 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Holy Faith Lutheran Church , 104 Paradise Rd , Oak Ridge , NJ . The funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Faith Lutheran Church . Ethel lived in the Bronx, N.Y. for 66 years before moving to Oak Ridge , N.J. She was an educator for the NYC Board of Education. Ethel was a proud member of St. Paul 's Church (Bronx), Holy Faith Church ( Oak Ridge ), and Calvary Church ( Verona ). She is pre-decreased by her husband Carl and daughter Ellen. Ethel was the beloved grandmother of grandson Michael Serra, granddaughter Karen Stabler, her husband Trey, and great-granddaughter, Ellie.
