Obituary of George S. Saunders

2013, at Morristown Medical Center. He was 69. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at The Church of Christ the King, New Vernon, N.J., at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home of Mendham, www.baileyfuneralhomes.com. Born in East Orange, N.J., George lived in the Mendham/Bernardsville, N.J., area for many years. He received a B.A. in business from C.W. Post College in 1969 and had served in the United States Army Intelligence Division from 1965 to 1968. He was the chief executive officer of Carleton-Stuart Corporation from 1975 to 2000, which was one of the largest Carrier air conditioning distributors in the country. He also served on the advisory board of Carrier Corporation. He was a 30-year member of the New York Athletic Club and a longtime member of Roxiticus Golf Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Estelle and George Saunders Sr.; his wife, Jeanne, and brother, Gregory. Survivors include two daughters, Bobbi Collier and husband, Steve; Brittany Warnock and husband, Robert; one son, Drew Saunders; five grandchildren; three brothers, Carleton and wife, Carole, Kerby and wife, Lisa, and Jack; three sisters, Sarah White, Colleen Convery and husband, James, and Wondy Ann Duff and husband, David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his stepmother, Patricia Saunders. For those desiring, donations may be made to the Jeanne M. and George S.
