Obituary of Jeanne M Saunders

Jeanne M. Saunders died peacefully surrounded by her family, on February 18, 2013 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 65. Jeanne was born in Queens, NY and lived in the Mendham/Bernardsville area for years. Jeanne was a very active volunteer at the Morristown Medical Center. She also served on the Board at Westmont Montessori School in Mendham and on the Board at Far Hills Country Day School. Jeanne also served on The Board at the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown and the NJ Discovery Orchestra. Her family will remember her as a loving wife and mother who put others before herself and strived to make people happy. She was predeceased by her mother Margaret Smith O'Connor and her brother Col. Gary O'Connor (USAF RET). Survivors include her husband George Saunders of Bernardsville; one son Andrew Saunders of Bernardsville; two daughters Barbara Collier and her husband Steve Collier of Harding, and Brittany Warnock and her husband Robert Warnock of Bernardsville, her father Thomas F. O’ Connor of Warren and her five grandchildren Christopher and Carlin Collier and George, Ella and Lilly Warnock. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 11:00am at Christ the King Church in New Vernon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jeanne M.
