Obituary of Marguerite E. Feind
Marguerite E. Feind died peacefully on March 27, 2009 at her daughter's home in Long Valley. She was 86. Mrs. Feind was a long-time resident of Mendham Township, where she and her late husband, Frederic L. Feind, raised their five daughters. She later moved to Basking Ridge. Throughout the years, she contributed significantly to the community, as a founding member of Mendham Golf and Tennis Club, assisting in fundraising efforts to create the parochial school at St. Joseph's, and as an active member of Morristown Memorial Hospital T.W.I.G. Mrs. Feind moved to Boston in 2006 where she was active in the College Club of Boston. She enjoyed an early career in the airline industry, where she met her husband. She is pre-deceased by him and by her daughter, Ann Patricia. She is survived by her daughters, Marguerite Landry of Katonah, New York, Katharine Allen, of Long Valley, Elizabeth Harmer, of Darien, Connecticut, and Amy Feind, of Boston, and their families, including Mrs. Feind's eleven grandchildren. Visitation: Monday from 4-7 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home 8 Hilltop Rd. Mendham. Funeral Mass: Tuesday 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Church, Mendham. Interment at St. Joseph's Church Cemetery.
