Obituary of Amy P. O'Neill

O'Neill - Amy Pauline In the prime of her life, Amy passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday September 8th, peacefully at home among family and friends. An extraordinary spirit, Amy was outgoing, loved life and her vivacious laugh uplifted everyone around her. Born November 20th, 1965 in Plainfield N.J., Amy started her career in advertising at Deutsch and Lucky Magazine in Manhattan, and later successfully transitioned to the creative side as an editor of television commercials. In 2006 Amy moved to Bernardsville, N.J., to establish a home and family, and a career in real estate at Keller Williams, Bernardsville office. With a strong will and a tender heart, Amy moved through this world, making it lighter and more wonderful for everyone she touched. Amy will be forever missed and remembered as a devoted mother (Alexis O'Neill Assaad), loving wife (Simon Assaad), daughter (Marguerite O'Neill), sister (Erin Toto, Dana McKee, Tara Tranter, Andy O'Neill) and loyal friend (too numerous to list). Amy, we know where ever you are, you will laugh and laugh and laugh.and will always be in our hearts. A memorial service will be held for Amy on Wednesday September 12th at 11am at Hilltop Church, 20 Hilltop Road, Mendham, N.J. with a reception to follow at the family home.
