Long Valley - Lucy Jean Waters died at home after a short illness on Sunday April 1, 2012. She was 85. Born in Harrisburg PA to the late Warren and Esther Byers on January 27, 1927, she was a resident of Long Valley for the past several years, and had been a resident of Chester Borough previously. Mrs. Waters was a homemaker. She was a long-time member of Grace Bible Chapel of Chester. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and Loving Mentor to many. She lived her life with love and devotion to her family. Her loss will be felt by all of those fortunate enough to have known her smile. She was the loving wife of 59 years to the late Harold Clifton Waters (2004), mother of Rex Waters, Gail Geiser, Christine Maas, and Joan Studley. She was a wonderful grandmother to Kathy Cannon, Betty Sanchez, Rachel and Nathaniel Waters, and great-grandmother of six.
