Obituary of Peter J. McNally

Peter J. McNally of Morristown, died, surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with cancer on March 17, 2012. He was 53. Born in Denville he was raised in Kinnelon, NJ. He lived in Boston, New Jersey and Toronto Canada before moving to Morristown in 1999. Peter was a 1981 graduate of the University of Virginia. He worked as a Sales Executive for Oracle of Redwood California. He spent the majority of his career with Parametric Technology as a Senior Vice President. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Upper Montclair Country Club and for the last several years was a member of Spring Brook Country Club. Peter was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying. Those who knew Peter he will always remember his charismatic and upbeat personality. He was predeceased by his father Richard and nephew Conor McNally. Survivors include his wife Alice, two sons Samuel and Andrew McNally, his mother Gertrude McNally of Palm Beach Florida, sisters Barbara Reuther of Morristown, Patricia McNally of Palm Beach Gardens Fl, Jacqueline Winokur of Juno Beach Florida, brothers Michael and Chris McNally, both of Bernardsville and Richard McNally of Cambridge Ma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Interment will be private. For family and friends, a memorial service celebrating Peter's life will be held on Thursday March 22, 2012 at 2pm at the Upper Montclair Country Club.
