Obituary of Michael T. Sweeney

Michael T. Sweeney died suddenly on Feb. 28th, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was 56. Born in Morristown, he lived in Mendham before moving to Bedminster 30 years ago. He was a 1974 Graduate of Mendham High School. Mike was a Pipefitter with Insulators Union Local 32 in Newark, NJ for the last 36 years. His family will remember him as a loving son, brother and friend, who will be dearly missed. He was predeceased by his father Frederick "Mike" Sweeney in 2007. Survivors include his mother S. Mary Sweeney (nee Giannini), two brothers Timothy of Bedminster, Ricky of Gladstone, two sisters Patricia Sweeney of Bedminster and Mary Jo Swanson of Pauley's Island, SC. He is also survived by his nephew Robbie Swanson and many aunts uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home,8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. Interment Mendham Hilltop Cemetery.
