Obituary of Howard Roger Polo

Mendham Twp. - Howard R. Polo died at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown on Saturday, February 4, 2012. He was 75 . Born in Morristown to the late Samuel and Louise Polo, he was a resident of Morris Township for many years before moving to Mendham Township 45 years ago. Mr. Polo was a veteran of the United States Army serving in 1959. He was a custom home builder and the owner of Polo Master Builders of Mendham. He was a past president of the Morris-Somerset Home Builders Association. Survivors include his wife Beverly, two sons, Roger of Randolph and Jeffrey of Mendham; his daughter Jennifer Polo-Kervick of Mendham; two brothers, Robert of Morris Township and Russell of Whippany; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ 07945 (973) 543-4720 ( www.baileyfuneralhomes.com) Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated at 8:30 PM at the funeral home Wednesday evening. Graveside services and interment will be private at the request of the family. For those who wish, donations in lieu of flowers are requested by the family to the Carol Simon Cancer Treatment Center, 100 Madison Avenue, Morristowon, NJ 07960 in memory of Howard Polo. Envelopes will be available during visitation at the funeral home.
