Obituary of Laura L. DeCristofaro

Laura L. DeCristofaro passed away peacefully on Jan. 8, 2012. She was 91. Born in Scotch Plains she moved to Dover in 1946. Mrs. DeCristofaro was a member of the Catholic Daughters and was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church in Dover. Mrs. DeCristofaro was a homemaker. Once her children were grown she became a Volunteer at St. Clare's Dover General Campus where she had for 35 years of service. She also worked at the Wharton Elementary School for 10 years. Her family will remember her as a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband Bernard L. DeCristofaro, Sr., two daughters Mary Ann Guilmette (Richard) of York, PA, and Bernadette Hill (Jim) of Roxbury; and one son Bernard L. DeCristofaro, Jr. (Donna) of Budd Lake. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Scott Guilmette, Kim Garay, Kimberly Saul, Allison McCulligan and Nicholas DeCristofaro and her five great grandchildren Ashley, Kelly. Ryan, Erica and Devan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Thursday 10am at Sacred Heart Church, Dover. Family and friends to arrive at funeral home at 8:30 am and then to church. Interment Locust Hill Cemetery.
