Obituary of Megan Kathleen Caldera
Megan Kathleen Caldera, 28, passed away at home on December 19, 2024.
Megan lived an exceptional life full of adventure and love. She enjoyed hiking and trips to Asbury Park with her friends; expanding her baking repertoire with delicious new recipes; relaxing with her dog, Olive, in front of the TV; and listening to a wide variety of music.
Megan achieved great things in her life: graduating from West Morris Mendham High School in 2015, attending the University of Pittsburgh, finding success as a recruiter for multiple companies, including Google, and achieving a green belt in Krav Maga, making her the family badass. Her greatest impact in life was on the people fortunate enough to call her a friend. She formed deep emotional bonds with everyone in her life. Whether you needed a good laugh, someone to vent to, or advice with an issue, Megan was there for you. Many of Megan's fondest memories in life were the times she spent with her family. Vacations to Hawaii, the Bahamas, California, Florida, and most recently, Maine highlighted a life dedicated to spending quality time with the ones she loved.
Megan is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Marge, who devoted their life to her happiness; her brother, Brian, sister-in-law, Tara, and niece, Luna, who cherished every moment she had with Aunt Meg; and her sister, Christine, and brother-in-law, Frankie.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4-6pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 11am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) www.nami.org in her memory, would be appreciated.
