Obituary of Ilse Wiggins

Ilse Kottmann Wiggins died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was 92.

Born in Irvington, she lived in Mendham for the last 50 years. Mrs. Wiggins was a homemaker and Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant for T.J. Wiggins Electrical Construction and Maintenance Inc. in West Orange for over 50 years.

Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family, home, reading. and needlecraft.

Ilse is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 62 years. Survivors include two daughters Mary Lou Vogler (William) of Hazlet and Patricia Anne Kiely (Lawrence) of Randolph; Three sons Thomas Wiggins Jr., (Francine) of Long valley, James Wiggins (Ann Marie) of Randolph and Steven Wiggins (Amy) of Mendham. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church Mendham. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester.  In lieu of flowers, for those desiring, donations to a charity of your choice in her memory, would be appreciated.
