I worked with Mary Ellen at Roche for many years. I will always remember her smile, her wit and her phenomenal expertise and willingness to try something new. One year she gave me a beautiful blue blanket for Xmas. I use it often and when I do I always think of her. Rest in peace Mary Ellen. Sing and dance and laugh as an angel in heaven watching over your girls and grandchildren.

Mary Ellen was one if the brightest, nicest, compassionate, intelligent, always helpful person I have ever kmown in 40+ years of working. My heart hurts hearing this sad news. She was precious to all who got to know her. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. I have a bowl that her husband made for me. Mary Ellen was my cousin growing up in Brooklyn,N.Y, her mom was my godmother.Our lives went on different paths as adults. About a year or so ago I found her through Google and wrote her a letter and she reached out to me and we talked about our childhood times and where our lives had taken us. I felt her kindness and love through her words. She was a very special lady who will have a special place in heaven and in my heart.Rest in Peace MaryEllen.

I was so saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. We attended nursing school together & were roommates . We remained friends after nursing school & often got together with our families. I too lost my husband Carl this past April. You will all be in my thoughts & prayers. And I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of your Mom.
