Obituary of Robert F. Hill

Robert F Hill died on Dec. 24, 2011 at his home in Gladstone. He was 71. Born in Easton, PA he has lived in Gladstone since 1945. Bob was the owner of Robert F. Hill, Builder for over 50 years. He was a member of the Peapack Reformed Church and was a 50 year member and Past Chief of the Peapack-Gladstone Fire Dept. He was a member of the H. Dunlap New Jersey Fire Parade Judges association. He coached Little League in Peapack-Gladstone. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid Nascar Enthusiast. He also enjoyed golfing with his family and firends His family will remember him as a devoted husband and father who was a very hard worker who enjoyed providing for his family. He enjoyed traveling and cruising in the Caribbean, Alaska and Panama. He was a very giving man who put others first. Survivors include his wife Ann Boughner Hill, one son David Hill and his wife Carolina of Gladstone, one daughter Sharon Pyburn and her husband Todd of Irving, TX, four brothers William Hill of Daytone Beach, FL, Wayne Hill of Millington, Ronald hill of Gladstone and bruce Hill of Lake Hopatcong. He is also survived by one grand-daughter Grace Pyburn. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bailey funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack. Funeral Service Wednesday 11am at the Peapack Reformed Church. Cremation will be private.
