Maureen Bock Clark Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Maureen Prendergast (Bock Clark) on April 7th who was surrounded by the comfort and love of her family. She was 69 years old.


Maureen’s greatest joy in life was family. Maureen is survived by her husband and the love of her life Michael Prendergast, her pride and joy in daughters Katelyn Eve Clark (William Collins and the boys Liam and Landon), granddaughter Kyla James, daughter Clara Prendergast (Colin Stoetzel) and granddaughter Lennon Rose. Maureen is also survived by her sisters Linda Bock Hinger (Frank), Barbara Bock Piserchia (Tony) and brothers John Bock (Susanne), Mike Bock (Robin) and nephews and nieces Bill, Jennifer (Aidan), Ryan, Andrew and Bailey, Jared, Jamie and Carly and loving and caring friends.


Born in Orange, NJ, Maureen is the daughter of William and Evelyn Bock of West Orange, NJ.


Retired from Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club as an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager, Maureen liked anything art and music, discussing politics, reading, beach time, traveling and spending time with family.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, April 12th from 3-6 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13th at 1:30pm at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 1350 Washington Valley Road, Bridgewater, NJ.
