When my wife Lori and I were first engaged we met Mike at a dinner with some friends of my parents.
During the meal I asked the table what they thought the key to a long marriage was. Mike's answer has always remained part of our marital foundation when he replied "you'll have disagreements and you should feel as though you are giving in at least 60% of the time."
That advice has served our marriage well and we hope to have as many happy years together as he and Mary did.
We miss him, but are comforted knowing that he is back in the loving arms of Mary.
