Obituary of Anthony J Castellano, Jr

Anthony J. Castellano, Jr.  passed away on November 24, 2023. He was 94 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to parents Anthony J and Sarah Castellano, Anthony attended and graduated from St. John’s University. He was a parishioner of St. Brigid Church in Gladstone, NJ.

Anthony served in the Army, during the 1950’s.  He was very dedicated to his work. He started and grew Sigma Engineering where he worked 6 days a week for much of his life. 

Anthony found joy in completing projects inside and outside of his house, always keeping a meticulous yard. He also loved spending time with his granddaughters, be it visits at Poppop’s house or Sunday dinners. 

Anthony was predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years, Louise Helen.  He is survived by his son Stephen and his wife Nancy, his two grandchildren, Allyson and Meghan, their significant others, Dan and Zak, and two great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29th  from 9-11AM at Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack. A Funeral Mass will take place following the visitation at 11:30 AM at St Brigid Church, 129 Main Street, Peapack. Interment will follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge.   In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony’s memory may be made to The Facial Pain Association.
