Obituary of Carmela Anne Bocchino

On September 30, 2023, Carmela Bocchino, aged 65, was called home by the Lord. She grew up in Mendham, NJ where she resided most of her life. Her love for animals and dedication to their well-being were a testament to her nurturing spirit. Carmela will be deeply missed by her adoring family and friends, forever remembered for the warmth and kindness she shared. She leaves behind her cherished pet cat Buddy, a reflection of her caring heart. She is survived by her brothers, Al Bocchino Jr., Gary Bocchino, and her sister and best friend Elana Vetrini. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews that she adored, as well as numerous other extended family members. May she be embraced in eternal love by her parents Al and Dolly Bocchino and finally be at peace dancing gracefully among the Angels. 

A memorial mass will be held at 12:30pm oo Saturday, October 28, 2023 at St. Joseph Church, 8 W. Main Street, Mendham immediately followed by Inurnment in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmela’s memory may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center 575 Woodland Ave, Madison, NJ 07940.
