Obituary of Linda Sigrid Brusco

Linda S. Brusco passed away at home on December 2, 2011 with her family at her side. She was 65. Born in Brockton, Mass, she lived in Boonton before moving to Mendham Township in 1972. Linda previously worked for Warner Lambert as a research biologist and for the past sixteen years, as Secretary to the Mendham Township Boards of Adjustment and Health. During her time in Mendham Township, she volunteered for many things including the Bicentennial Committee, Cub Scouts, Library, School Hot Lunch program, Board of Health, and the Board of Christian Education at the Brookside Community Church. She will be best remembered as a dedicated twenty-three year member of the Mendham Township First Aid Squad where she served twice as Captain. During her years of service, she touched the lives of not only those to whom she responded, but also of their families and of those who served with her. She is survived by her husband Richard of forty-three years, her sons Richard at home and David and his wife Stacey of Peapack, her granddaughter Ella and granddog Buka, brother Craig and his wife Byna Martenson of Indiana, and two nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, Dec 5, from 4-8 at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, and Funeral Service Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Brookside Community Church.
