I can’t think of a kinder more caring person than Steve Shanley, his smile and personality were infectious! Whenever you saw Steve, you just knew you would be met with a huge smile, positive enthusiasm, a great story, trick and a few good jokes! Steve was as genuine as the day is long and he will be missed dearly. Much Love and prayers to Steves family, I am so very sorry for your loss!

Steve you were such a kind hearted person! As the owner of the company my husband works for, Steve reached out to us before my spine surgery offering financial assistance. Such a kind offer! Unbelievable generous big hearted man always asking Tom how I’m doing. He reached out to me with some phone calls offering his assistance regarding medical insurance. I enjoyed our conversations. I am sure heaven gained a special soul and many here will miss you! Tom and I will be praying for your family that God comforts each one with all their blessed memories of you.. I’m glad I had the privilege of telling Steve that he was the kindest, sweetest person my husband and myself had ever worked for! I was supposed to call you back with updates, I didn’t get chance to, regretfully. God bless you and your family. Thank you for your kindness!

So sad to hear of Steve’s passing. Worked with him for many years. Will never forget the drive to the Buffalo STS stores in his Corvette (neither will my kidneys). Steve was a good guy who was taken way too soon. Rest in peace Steve. Condolences to the Shanley family & his family at American Tire.

I am so sad to hear about this lost he was a very special person. I met Steve back in the days at St. Luke's and met him through my uncle (Father Mike Drury). Then I started working at St. Luks every Saturday then I worked there fulltime from 2007 - 2011 as there maintenance coordinator and whenever I needed help he was always there when I needed him or he would send his Son Tom to help with the tuff jobs. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Steve and I started doing business more than 30 years ago. Over those years our time together transitioned through business and family and became more friendship than anything else. I believe that friends become our chosen family and I feel the loss of Steve as one of my own. I will miss him dearly.

I met Steve while traveling to China to adopt the beloved “China girls.” What struck me most during our journey was how kind Steve was to all of us. For many years we the China group shared such a wonderful bond. Steve was a gentle soul who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
