Obituary of Evelyn Carol Trebilcock

Evelyn Carol Trebilcock passed away peacefully on March 24, 2023. She was 85 years old.

Born in Morristown, NJ, to parents Edward and Iva (Ader) Fagan, Carol lived in Mendham and Peapack for most of her life, before moving to Bryan Manor in Chester several years ago. She was a member of the Peapack Reform Church in Peapack for many years.

Carol was active in her community, and she served the Peapack Gladstone area on the First Aid Squad from 1968 to 1972. She began working with the Peapack Gladstone Bank shortly after, working as head teller in the Peapack, Bedminster, and Pluckemin locations. She was a lover of animals, especially cats.

Carol is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin “Bucky” Trebilcock.  She is survived by son Mark and his wife Ginny Trebilcock of East Stroudsburg, PA, son “Bucky” Ehlbeck of Arizona, grandchildren Mark Jr. and Jessica Gardner and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, from 10-12 at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack NJ. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12 PM in the funeral home. Carol will be laid to rest with her late husband at Lower Valley Union Cemetery in Califon.
