Nicola Pisani passed away on January 26, 2023. He was 54 years old.

Born in Albi, Italy, to parents Salvatore and Caterina (Capone) Pisani, Nicola was raised in Italy before moving to Morristown, New Jersey, at the age of 21 with just $400 in his pocket. He worked hard for the life he built in America and was truly the definition of a self-made man. He and his family made Mendham their home in 2017.

Nicola loved being outdoors, whether it was on the job at his contracting, landscaping and masonry businesses, or in his free time in his thriving vegetable garden and apiary, he felt most comfortable in nature. He enjoyed tending to his tomatoes with which he made wonderful sauces for his family, his grapes that he masterfully crafted into decadent wines, Nicola even cured his own meats. The most fruitful and important endeavor of all was caring and providing for his loving family, a task sweeter than any honey his bees could provide. They were his whole world.

Nicola is predeceased by his brother, Sergio Pisani, and his father, Salvatore Pisani. Nicola is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Renee-Noele Pisani, daughters Christiana and Caterina Pisani, mother Caterina Pisani, brothers Pasquale (Maria Rosa) Pisani, Rocco (Liz) Pisani, sister-in-law Angela Costanzo, nieces and nephews Salvatore, Giada, Salvatore, Luana, Valentina, Salvatore, Caterina, and Isabella, and his beloved and faithful canine companion, Bridget.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1st, from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, February 2nd, at 10 AM at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave, Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
