Elizabeth Una Cooper, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2023.

Born in Morristown, NJ, to parents Patrick and Mary (Bolger) Cooper, Elizabeth was known to all as Una. She was raised in Gladstone, N.J and later lived in Bristol, CT, Asbury Park, NJ, and Colrain, MA, before returning to Morris County to be closer to family. She was a woman of faith and was a parishioner of St. Brigid Church in her younger years.

Una attended Pace University College of Health Professionals and after graduation continued on with a medical career working at All Souls Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital both in Morristown N.J.

Una was very active and loved to travel. She enjoyed skiing and golf, had an immense love for the beach, and traveled often, especially to Ireland. When she wasn’t adventuring, Una was a very talented stained-glass artist, having completed several windows for local churches.

Una is predeceased by her sister Ethna C. Duff and survived by her sisters, Maureen C. McCrory and Patricia C. Pedersen, nieces Susan E. Pedersen and Meghan D. Lisser, and nephews Owen M. Duff and Erik M. Pedersen.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 12, at 11 AM at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main St, Peapack.
