Coach Bridges was simply the best! Ass kicker as a football coach and as leader of our Twin Boro Bear teams! My friends and I, to this day still tell the legendary stories. I was fortunate to know Ed and his family well for many years, many years ago during his football coaching days. Both my sons Shep and David played for him with his son Teddy. I was honored when he gave me one of his drawings of an historic Nutley home. My sympathies go out to his Sandy and his children and all who knew him and will miss him.

Mr. Bridges felt like a second dad after my father passed. To me, the perfect mix of toughness, intellect, sarcasm and kindness. Thank you for the many talks, lessons, and laughs over the years.
